About Final Cut Painting | Your Sioux Falls Professional Painter

I focus on the steps that keep your paint looking sharp for years — no shortcuts, no bargain-bin materials, and no guessing on what will last.

A good paint job isn’t just about the color.

It’s about protecting your home, making sure surfaces are prepared the right way, and choosing products that can stand up to South Dakota’s weather.

A Personal Approach to Professional Painting

I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands. Before painting, I spent summers in construction and years teaching in the classroom.

Both worlds taught me a lot about patience, communication, and the value of taking the time to do something well.

Painting began as a side job — something to help support my family — but it quickly became something I genuinely enjoyed. There’s a quiet rhythm to it, and a real satisfaction in watching a home transform.

How It All Started

TAYLOR HUSKA

You’ll always know what’s coming next.

Projects run smoother when everyone’s on the same page — and that’s how I like to work.

My goal is to give you a finish that looks great and holds up, without making the process stressful.

What You Can Expect
  • I tape like I have stock in the company — straight edges are non-negotiable.

  • I get way too excited about fresh caulk lines.

  • I prep until the surface basically tells me, “Okay dude, enough.”

  • I only use paints that can handle South Dakota weather — because that stuff is no joke.

  • I stay steady and patient… even when the wind and humidity have other plans.

When I’m not painting, I’m teaching during the school year or spending time with my wife Chelsie, our kids, and our dog. Family is why I started this business, and it’s what drives me to make sure every project is handled with care.
